Dozens of people lunched on soup to support Habitat for Humanity Sunday. The Catholic Daughters boiled up delicious homemade soups for their annual soup supper fundraiser at St. Joseph's Church. Broccoli and cheese, potato, Italian sausage, chicken noodle and chile were some of the favorites. The organization has 112 members, who say their dedicated to helping their community.
"Catholic Daughters is a charitable organization. We raise money for a lot of different organizations, through our dues and through our fundraisers. That's what we're all about. We're here to help," says Toni Heiden, member of the Catholic Daughters. The group will be hosting another fundraiser to benefit the Counseling Education Center. The card party will be February 26th at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
